The Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) has a distinguished history of supporting, promoting and providing services and assistance to member businesses since 1934 – we definitely have roots!
It is vital to support the role of the green industry in our communities, as well as provide a unified voice for the industry for the purposes of education, legislation and marketing. MNLA supports and unites all constituent groups of the horticulture industry, including landscape, garden centers, interiorscape, grounds maintenance, nursery, greenhouse, arboriculture, botanical gardens and other allied businesses. Legislation/Maryland Green Industry Council (MaGIC)
New laws are proposed every year during the General Assembly. The MNLA is a member of the Maryland Green Industry Council (MaGIC), which serves Maryland’s horticulture industry as a lobbying arm and legislative resource on issues affecting Maryland’s 'Green Industry.' The voice of MaGIC can be heard around Annapolis, and around the state, as it lends its expertise, insight, and testimony on pertinent legislation and governance.
